Fundraising and Event Coordinator and Team - Volunteer Positions Description
- Organize events and fundraisers to help raise money and awareness for Cajun Tails Rescue
- Keep track of dates for events and fundraisers and make posts
- Implement ideas and plans for fundraisers and events
- Work with volunteers to coordinate plans
- Delegate to other volunteers and work together to fulfill plans

How you can help
Foster
Cajun Tails is mostly a foster based rescue. The more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. Fosters open their homes and hearts to dogs in the rescues care until they find their forever families. All supplies, food, and medical care is supplied by the rescue. You just give them love and a place to rest until they get adopted.
Home check volunteers
We require home visits for all potential adopters to make sure our rescue pups go to amazing homes. Our home check volunteers help us by completing an in person visit of the applicants home and help the adoption process go faster and smoother so we can take more dogs in and help save more lives!
Transport
Rescues all over Louisiana (and the U.S.) are in need of help transporting. As we are foster based, our rescue pups are located all over. Our transport volunteers help get pups to their fosters from shelters, surrenders, etc. and to their forever families as needed!
