Our mission is to save as many dogs from kill shelters and bad situations as possible. In Louisiana and surrounding states, the shelters sadly have to euthanize thousands of dogs each year, and we want to help fix the problem. Our team of fosters and staff dedicate their time everyday to bring life back into many dogs that have been abandoned or have lost hope.
Max is a beautiful purebred husky. He is about 2 years old. After getting out and caught by animal control- his owner signed him and his sister over because he didn’t want them anymore. Poor Max has been bounced around but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He is a very fun loving and sweet baby. He is very energetic and like a classic husky, can get out of unsecured yards to go find new friends. He needs an owner with breed experience and a secure fenced in yard. He is good with kids and other dogs but would do best in a home without cats.
Snickers came to us terrified of his own shadow. He sat in a corner and wouldn’t move for the first couple days at his fosters house. He has made such progress and is now thriving- learning how to trust and how to actually be a dog. He is very sweet and cuddly , not overly active, but still loves to play! He is only about 6 months old now and needs a family of his own. To find out more or to meet/adopt Max click the button below to apply!
